Official Site: b-boys.jp/ultrax/cybercard01 (Japan) Tsuburaya Productions` new ULTRAMAN X (???????, Urutoraman Ekkusu) series continues the recent trend of tying the Ultraman shows directly to products and merchandising from Bandai. In the program, protagonist Daichi Ozora (Kensuke Takahashi) becomes Ultraman X through a transformation device called the Xdevizers. Ozora also uses Cyber Cards -- data cards created by the Earth defense team “Xio” (Xeno Invasion Outcutters) -- to create "Monsarmor", armor and weapons based on monsters and heroes from the Ultra Series. Bandai is including plastic Cyber Cards with most of the characters in their “Ultraman X Ultra Hero X” line of soft vinyl figures. They are also releasing sets of Cyber Cards plus a binder with pages for storing up to 40 cards. The Cyber Cards and figures contain chips with audio and data files that can be scanned by the DX Xdevizers (sold separately). Bandai`s ULTRAMAN X products are recommended for ages 3 and up.
