CATASTROPHE- 1999 and LAST DAYS OF PLANET EARTH), ESPY, THE WAR IN SPACE, and THE RETURN OF GODZILLA (a.k.a. GODZILLA 1985). Mr. Nakano was first employed by Toho in 1959 and his career started as an assistant director of live-action scenes rather than Tokusatsu. He worked under director Jun Fukuda on THE SECRET OF THE TELEGIAN, with Ishiro Honda on MOTHRA, and Shue Matsubayashi for THE LAST WAR. In 1961, he moved over to Team Tsuburaya and worked on all of Toho Tokusatsu movies under Mr. Eiji Tsuburaya.
