Toho has provided SciFi Japan with their latest official press release for GODZILLA MINUS ONE (ゴジラ-1.0/ゴジラマイナスワン, Gojira Mainasu Wan), announcing the main cast for the film.
INTRODUCTION

Godzilla suddenly appears in a scorched earth of Japan.
Can the nameless people left behind live to survive and fight back?
In GODZILLA MINUS ONE, a film commemorating the 70th anniversary of Godzilla, the director, screenwriter, and VFX director is Takashi Yamazaki.
The symbol of despair is now revived in Reiwa.
MAIN CHARACTER AND CAST INFORMATION
Koichi Shikishima (Ryunosuke Kamiki): Although he survived the war, he lost his parents. He meets Noriko in a devastated Japan.
Noriko Oishi (Minami Hamabe): A strong woman living alone in a burnt-out post-war Japan. She meets Shikishima on her way home from the war.

SCALE OF RELEASE
Including large format (IMAX, MX4D, 4DX, Dolby Cinema), the film will be released in more than 500 theaters nationwide, one of the largest releases for a Toho film.
NORTH AMERICAN RELEASE
The film will be released in North America on December 1, 2023 (Friday). Scheduled to be released in more than 1,000 screens.
