Godzilla fans in Japan can now pre-order "Godzilla Osechi 2024" (ゴジラおせち2024, Gojira Osechi 2024) for the upcoming New Year's holiday season. Osechi is a collection of small, traditional Japanese New Year's delicasies presented in a wooden display box. This will be the fourth consecutive year that the collectibles company DeAgostini Japan has released a Godzilla-themed Osechi.
With 2024 marking the 70th anniversary of the first GODZILLA (ゴジラ , Gojira) released in 1954, the fourth edition of the "Godzilla Osechi" will offer extras commemorating the history of the King of the Monsters. Special features includea poster of all the previous Godzillas and trading cards featuring Godzilla and other monsters from the anniversary films. In addition, a deluxe Oshechi edition with an ornament of Godzilla (1954) will be available in limited quantities.

■ Jointly developed with Yamafuku, a long-established Osechi maker
"Godzilla Osechi 2024" has beendeveloped with the cooperation of Yamafuku, a long-established Osechi manufacturer that has been in business for 77 years. In addition to the included benefits, fans can enjoy an original menu of Osechi to add color to their New Year's table.
The special kiribako (Paulownia wood box) in which the Osechi is placed has a memorial design with a famous promotional photograph of Godzilla (1954) and the words "70th Anniversary" inscribe.

③ Godzilla Legend New Year's Card Set (3 cards)
A set of three New Year's cards and limited edition postcards with a message from actor Jun Hashizume, who plays the lead role of Koji Shinjo in GODZILLA VS. SPACEGODZILLA (ゴジラvsスペースゴジラ, Gojira Tai SupēsuGojira, 1994).
*Hashizume's handwritten message and signature will be reproduced and printed on the cards.

The "Godzilla Osechi 2024 DX Edition" (ゴジラおせち2024 DX版, Gojira Osechi 2024 DX Ban) also comes with an ornament of Godzilla (1954), measuring approximately 112 mm in height. The ornament is individually handmade by the Cast workshop in Japan, and is limited to 300 sets. The coloring of Godzilla (1954) is finished in the image of the theatrical poster at the time of the movie's release, and boasts a level of perfection that is sure to satisfy fans.
