A SCIFI JAPAN EXCLUSIVE

The Japanese collectibles company X-Plus Co., Ltd. has provided SciFi Japan with information and daikaiju-sized photos of their limited edition Godzilla figure set based on the hit Toho movie SHIN GODZILLA (??????, Shin Gojira, 2016). The three figure set contains clear color variants of the Godzilla (2016) 2nd Form, 3rd Form and 4th Form from X-Plus` DefoReal Series, which blends the popular "Super Deformed" (SD) style -- cute figures with large heads, squat, chubby bodies and stubby limbs -- with more realistic/detailed sculpts. The production run for this item is limited to 150 pieces. 75 sets were sold at the X-Plus booth during Tokyo Comic Con 2017 (December 1-3). The remaining 75 are being offered by the company`s official Shounen Ric website, which is holding an online lottery through December 18 to purchase the figure via mail order. The sets will begin shipping to lottery winners on December 22. X-Plus figures are recommended for fans and collectors ages 15 years and older.
