Toho has provided information and a gallery of high-res photos from THE UNTOLD TALE OF THE THREE KINGDOMS (新解釈・三國志, Shin Kaishaku Sangokushi). The film is based on the historical text of the same name, which describes the division of China by the Shu, Wu and Wei warlords during the later Han Dynasty (approximately 200 A.D.). Director/screenwriter Yuichi Fukuda (the HK: FORBIDDEN SUPERHERO and GINTAMA films) presents a fresh take on the classic tale, full of laughter and surprises and featuring an all-star cast.
THE UNTOLD TALE OF THE THREE KINGDOMS opens in Japanese cinemas this Friday, December 11.
