The pre-painted and assembled figure is sculpted by Takashi “T” Yamawaki, the popular artist behind numerous Godzilla garage kits from T’s Facto. While Yamawaki`s T’s Facto kits are generally movie-accurate depictions of Godzilla, the Art Spirits figure is a more stylized representation of the King of the Monsters` design from GODZILLA 2000 (???2000 ?????, Gojira Nisen: Mireniamu, 1999), reflecting the sculptor`s desire to make Godzilla "spiky and really evil looking".
