Bandai America has provided SciFi Japan with information and photos of their new Mechagodzilla (1975) Space Beam Version figure. Part of X-PLus’ 30cm Series, the figure is based on the Mechagodzilla 2 design from the 1975 film TERROR OF MECHAGODZILLA (メカゴジラの逆襲, Mekagojira no Gyakushū). A special feature of the figure is Mechagodzilla’s eyes, which light up 7 colors to recreate the cyborg monster’s Space Beam attack from the movie. The light up gimmick requires four AAA batteries (sold separately).
