Today, Crunchyroll announced the acquisition of BANANYA AROUND THE WORLD (ばなにゃ あらうんど ざ わーるど, Bananya ara un do Warudo), the third season of the adorable series featuring kittens living in bananas! Kyo Yatate will return to direct the series at animation studio Lesprit, with series composition by Masahiro Takata and Sei Yoshitsuki joining on the scripts.
Beginning in October, the show will be available to stream on Crunchyroll worldwide except Asia, but including the Indian subcontinent.
What could be cuter than a little kitten? A kitten inside a…banana?! Bananya is a carefree kitty that lives in a banana with dreams of becoming a delicious chocolate-covered dessert. But he’s not the only one in the bunch! He lives with other bananya friends who come out to play when humans aren’t around. Get ready for silly antics and fun adventures!
Season 3 Official Synopsis
Bananya returns! The mysterious cat who lives inside a banana is back for a new adventure when a ball of light appears. After the ball flashes, a new cat named Baby Sweet emerges. The two quickly become friends and set off on a grand adventure to discover new and exciting places around the world. Join the new friends on their journey!
