    Toho has provided information and high-res images from their recent anime film, DETECTIVE CONAN: THE DARKEST NIGHTMARE (?????? ????????????, Meitantei Konan Junkuro no Akumu (Naitomea)). The movie is the 20th feature film based on the manga series by Aoyama Gosho, which follow the adventures of teenager Shinichi Kudo, a master detective who was transformed into a young boy after being poisoned by members of the criminal Black Organization. Quickly realizing his new appearance is the perfect cover, Kudo adopted the name `Conan Edogawa` in order to continue using his skills against evildoers. Opening in Japan this past April 16th, DETECTIVE CONAN: THE DARKEST NIGHTMARE topped the box office for three consecutive weeks. The film earned ¥5.86 billion (approximately $57 million US) during its theatrical run, making it the highest grossing entry in the series. STORY A spy infiltrates the Japanese National Police Agency, retrieving secret files regarding Britain`s MI6, Germany`s BND and America`s CIA and FBI. Rei Furuya and a group of Tokyo Police Public Security Bureau officers intercept the spy as he makes his getaway, chasing the intruder;s car down a highway. To prevent a major car accident, FBI Agent Shuichi Akai snipes the spy`s vehicle, which crashes and explodes. The next day, at the Tokyo aquarium with the Ferris wheel, Conan and the Detective Boys found a woman with heterochromia (irises of different colors) who has suffered memory loss. Conan and his allies decide to stay and help the woman regain her memory, unaware they are under the watchful eye of the Black Organization agent known as Vermouth.
