A SCIFI JAPAN EXCLUSIVE

Scheduled for release in Japan on March 18th, HIRUNE HIME is the first feature film from Signal.MD, the animation division of IG Port (Production I.G/Mag Garden). Distributor Warner Bros. Pictures Japan is promoting the movie with the English title ENSHEN AND HER MAGIC TABLET. ENSHEN is written and directed by Kenji Kamiyama (GHOST IN THE SHELL: STAND ALONE COMPLEX, MORIBITO: GUARDIAN OF THE SPIRIT, EDEN OF THE EAST, 009 RE:CYBORG). Additional credits for the film include music by Yoko Shimomura (KINGDOM HEARTS, KINGSGLAIVE: FINAL FANTASY XV), character designs by Satoko Morikawa (THE CAT RETURNS, EDEN OF THE EAST) and Shigeto Koyama (Rebuild of Evangelion, BIG HERO 6), and animation direction by Atsuko Sasaki (EDEN OF THE EAST, GHOST IN THE SHELL: THE NEW MOVIE). Set in Kojima in the city of Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, ENSHEN is a story linking dreams and reality, revealing the hidden bonds between a girl and her father. Director Kamiyama stated that he was inspired to create an original fantasy he could watch with his own daughter. STORY "Recently, I have the same dream over and over." I`m sleepy all day, and dozes off at home and at school, too. Kokone Morikawa, the female high school senior who may fall asleep at any time. Three days before the summer of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, An incident occurred in her family. Kokone does not know her family`s secret -- the key to that mystery, Every time she sleeps, it is oddly real and very warm, It seems like a strange dream...
