Shochiku has provided an update and new images for the Japanese theatrical run of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM UC (UNICORN)(????????UC(?????), Kidoo Senshi Gandamu Yunikon) Episode 7: "Over The Rainbow" (????, Niji no Kanata ni). Based upon the best-selling novel by Harutoshi Fukui (Aegis), the original video animation series is produced by Sunrise, directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi (HUNTER X HUNTER, LE CHEVALIER D’EON), and is distributed in Japan by Bandai Visual and in North America by Right Stuf. MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM UC concludes with with the seventh episode, which will be released in Japan on multiple Blu-ray and DVD editions June 6, 2014. The North American DVD release date is tba. Leading up to the DVD and Blu-ray release, theatrical distributor Shochiku will host special event screenings of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM UC (UNICORN) Episode 7 in Japanese cinemas. The screenings will run from May 17-June 13, 2014, and attendees will also be able to purchase an exclusive MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM UC (UNICORN) pack containing an advance copy of the Episode 7 Limited Edition Blu-ray and the screenplay by Yasuyuki Muto (with a cover illustration by Shuko Murase). Only 20,000 sets will be produced, and will retail for ¥11,000. Advance tickets went on sale December 7, 2013 with ticket buyers receiving an exclusive Full Armor Unicorn Gundam plastic model kit. A second advance ticket exclusive is now being offered; the FW GUNDAM CONVERGE Unicorn Gundam (Destroy Mode) Theater Limited Pearl Clear Ver. Ticket prices for the screenings will be ¥4,800.
