DAISUKI.net is comprised of several major players in the anime and advertising world that have partnered to form this new website and enterprise: Aniplex Inc., SUNRISE INC., TOEI ANIMATION Co., LTD., TMS ENTERTAINMENT CO., LTD., NIHON AD SYSTEMS INC., DENTSU INC. and ASATSU-DK INC.
“Our goal is to create a place where creators and fans can have a direct dialogue and where creator’s works can be legally enjoyed by fans around the world,” said Kunihiko Shibata, President of DAISUKI, “We want to grow and expand the Japanese Animation industry by offering authorized content and an online shop to sell anime related goods.” The site is intended for a worldwide audience (some content might be regionally restricted due to licensing agreements.) Anime series currently available on the site include: PUELLA MAGI MADOKA MAGICA, SWORD ART ONLINE, MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED, MOBILE SUIT ZETA GUNDAM, LUPIN THE 3RD, and THE PRINCE OF TENNIS OAV series. This is the first time THE PRINCE OF TENNIS OAVs are available in the English language. Future titles will include ONE PIECE and many more to be added continuously. With a potential catalog of tens of thousands of episodes, DAISUKI running a survey of registered users to learn what series they want to see first. Among these titles, many have never before been released in English, and others will feature brand new, faithful and fan-friendly translations.
