A SCIFI JAPAN EXCLUSIVE

Distributor Warner Bros. Pictures Japan has provided information and images from NI NO KUNI (???), their new anime film adaption of Level-5`s popular RPG series. The movie opens in theaters across Japan on August 23rd. NI NO KUNI is directed by Yoshiyuki Momose, who previously worked on numerous Hayao Miyazaki films while at Studio Ghibli. STORY Kindhearted high school student Yu (Kento Yamazaki) and his childhood friend Haru (Mackenyu Arata) suddenly find themselves in a strange place called "the other world." There they meet Princess Asha, who looks just like Haru`s girlfriend Kotona (Mei Nagano). The teens struggle as they are forced to make life-and-death decisions.
