    Japanese distributor Shochiku has provided information and large, high-res images for the anime feature film VIOLET EVERGARDEN - ETERNITY AND THE AUTO MEMORY DOLL - (???????????????? ?? -?????????-, Vuaioretto Evu?g?den Gaiden - Eien to Jid? Syuki Ningy? -). The movie is a side story to the popular Kyoto Animation anime VIOLET EVERGARDEN, revolving around a young girl burdened with the task of writing on someone`s behalf, sometimes called a `self-chronicling doll`. At the helm is Haruka Fujita, who served as series animation supervisor under television series director, Taichi Ishidate. Production was completed shortly before the arson attack on the Kyoto Animation studio. VIOLET EVERGARDEN - ETERNITY AND THE AUTO MEMORY DOLL - will have a three week limited theatrical run from September 6th to the 26th. STORY Isabella York (voice: Kotobuki Minako) attend a girl`s school which only accepts children from respectable families. Isabella make a promise with her father, but has lost hope for the future. Then Violet (voice: Ishikawa Yui), who has been employed as a tutor, presents herself to Isabella.
