The ARIA anime celebrates its 10th anniversary with the 3-part OVA (original video animation), ARIA THE AVVENIRE (??? ? ???????, Aria ji Atsuvuenire). The animated franchise began with the television series ARIA THE ANIMATION (??? ? ???????, Aria ji Animeeshon, 2005), followed by ARIA THE NATURAL (??? ? ?????, Aria za Nachuraru, 2006), ARIA THE OVA ?ARIETTA? (??? ? ?????? ~?????~, Aria ji OVA ~Arietta~` 2007) and ARIA THE ORIGINATION (??? ??????????, Aria ji Orijineeshon, 2008). It is based on the Aria manga by Kozue Amano and originally serialized in Mag Garden’s Comic Blade magazine, which has sold 4.8 million copies. Director Junichi Sato returns for the new OVA, with the first episode available in Japan on December 24th. Distributor Shochiku Co. will premiere all three episodes of ARIA THE AVVENIRE at a special screening event held in Japanese cinemas on September 26th.
