Region 4 Collections Coming this Week to Australia and New Zealand Source: Madman Entertainment On October 21st, Eastern Eye— the Asian theatrical and home video division of Australian distributor Madman Entertainment— will release three DVD collections of classic Godzilla films. The sets collect seventeen Godzilla movies that had been released individually on DVD by Madman from 2004-2007. With the exception of the new packaging, the new DVDs are identical in terms of content to the previous releases, including special features such as original Japanese theatrical trailers, photo galleries, trivia, concept art, and poster galleries. Each box set will be Region 4 and PAL format, and retail for $49.95 AUD.

GODZILLA: 50th Anniversary Edition Special 50th Anniversary edition with the original Japanese version of the 1954 classic GODZILLA (restored and completely uncut) and the US 1956 version GODZILLA KING OF THE MONSTERS on one disc! Hiding in a cave in desperation, the castaways decide to awaken the slumbering Godzilla in the hope he can defeat Ebirah and help them escape!
SON OF GODZILLA (1967) On Solgell Island in the South Pacific a group of United Nations scientists conduct weather experiments. A malfunction causes a radioactive storm which makes the local praying mantis (Kamakiras) colony to grow to over 100 feet tall. The mantis colony finds a giant egg, which contains Minilla— the Son of Godzilla. Soon Godzilla arrives to teach his son the skills to help him become a future `King of the Monsters`. SON OF GODZILLA is a fun adventure for all the family. GODZILLA: DESTROY ALL MONSTERS (1968) In the year 1999, the giant monsters of old have been safely imprisoned on Monsterland in the Ogasawara Islands. In his daydreams he sees Godzilla fighting other monsters but soon realizes that Minilla is bullied, too. Ichiro begins to develop the guts to stand up to the bully Gabara. ALL MONSTERS ATTACK is a great lesson for the kids. GODZILLA VS HEDORAH (aka GODZILLA VS THE SMOG MONSTER, 1971) The Earth is being polluted by humans and still its inhabitants will not learn of the dangers. Spawned from the pollution is the alien monster Hedorah— the `Smog Monster` — that spews forth poisonous gas and sludge, destroying Japan. The only hope to save mankind is Godzilla... and soon a clash of the titans will rock the world. GODZILLA VS GIGAN (1972) World Children`s Land, a new Tokyo fun park with a monster theme, hides a terrifying secret. Inside the park, aliens from Nebula M Spacehunter plan to unleash the giant cyborg Gigan and the three-headed King Ghidorah to destroy an unsuspecting Earth. Only Godzilla and Angilas have any hope of stopping them in a monster tag team clash of the titans. GODZILLA VS MEGALON (1973) For a while, things have been peaceful on Earth. But far beneath the ground, the kingdom of Seatopia sends out the giant beetle Megalon and the space monster Gigan to destroy the surface dwellers.
