Over the past 50+ years, many of the monsters and aliens introduced in Tsuburaya Productions’ Ultraman franchise have become pop culture icons, both in Japan and abroad. The popularity of these characters has inspired the BATTLE KAIJU SERIES, a new Blu-ray collection from Mill Creek Entertainment devoted to some of the greatest Ultraman foes. The third volume looks at the “Ancient Monster” Gomora, one of the most fearsome kaiju to ever battle the Ultra Heroes.

Introduced in Episodes 26 and 27 of the original ULTRAMAN series from 1966, Gomora has the distinction of starring in the first two-part story in the franchise and being the first kaiju to defeat an Ultraman in one-on-one combat.
BATTLE KAIJU SERIES 03: ULTRAMAN VS GOMORA collects 16 episodes from 11 different Ultraman series, starting with its first appearance in the original ULTRAMAN series and continuing through to 2019's ULTRAMAN R/B. Alongside the original Gomora, this special collection presents powered-up versions of the monster, a mechanical doppelganger, a digital version, a fusion of with the monster Red King, and more. Also included in this special xx disc Blu-ray release is the bonus feature film, MEGA MONSTER BATTLE: ULTRA GALAXY THE MOVIE, in which Gomora fights alongside Ultraman and Ultraseven against the evil Ultraman Belial!
Rounding out the set is a slipcase featuring exciting Marvel Comics artwork, plus a 12-page collectible booklet and episode guide. Enjoy 511 minutes of classic Sci-Fi/Fantasy with DTS-HD Master Audio of the original Japanese soundtrack with English subtitles. While most episodes in this set are remastered in 1080p HD, some are presented as "SD on Blu-ray" due to HD masters not being currently available from Tsuburaya Productions.
