Aniplex of America Inc. has announced on their Aniplex Live Show the release dates for the GURREN LAGANN (??????????, Tengen Toppa Guren Ragan, 2007) television series on Blu-ray. With the first Blu-ray volume now available and Volume 2 coming out on December 9, succeeding volumes will be available as follows: Volume 3 (eps. 11-16) January 6th Volume 4 (eps. 17-22) February 3rd Volume 5 (eps. 23-27) March 3rd Fans can order the entire TV series now. Each GURREN LAGANN Blu-ray Volume will include 5 to 6 episodes in both the original Japanese and English audios with English subtitles. The bonus features for each volume includes a double sided poster and a 16 page booklet featuring interviews with the creators and an illustration gallery. Volume 3 will feature the textless ending of episode 16 and Volume 4 will include the third textless opening and ending. GURREN LAGANN Blu-ray Vol. 4 Seven years have passed since the fall of Lordgenome’s Teppelin and Simon and Team Dai-Gurren fought to liberate humanity from their lives underground. Peace had returned and humanity was once again thriving on the surface. Simon is now Supreme Commander of the New Government and he and Nia were engaged. But, just as Lordgenome predicted, as soon as the population hit one million, their peaceful world was once again faced with destruction. To Simon’s horror, the one who brought their peaceful time to a shattering halt was none other than Nia, who was now the anti-spiral messenger.
