On June 18th, the Australian label Madman Entertainment will release HENTAI KAMEN: FORBIDDEN SUPER HERO (HK ????, HK Hentai Kamen, 2013) on Region 4 DVD. Based on the manga Ultimate!! Hentai Kamen (??!!????, Kyuukyoku!! Hentai Kamen) by Keishu Ando (published by manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump from 1992 to 1993) the film is a frequently jaw-dropping and hilarious take on the superhero genre with a hero who draws his superpower from the smell of girl`s panties. HENTAI KAMEN: FORBIDDEN SUPER HERO played the 2013 Japan Film Festival in Australia and was awarded the Best Asian Feature, Guru Prize For Most Energetic Film at the 2013 Fantasia Film Festival. High school student Kyosuke (Ryohei Suzuki) is the most talented member of the school`s martial arts club. His late father was a detective and Kyosuke shares his father`s strong sense of justice. Kyosuke also has a secret -- he can transform himself into the "Pervert Mask", wearing female underwear and gaining superhuman powers.
