SRS is proud to announce the latest Kaiju addition to their growing line, Daisuke Sato’s beautiful and amazing HOWL FROM BEYOND THE FOG (ç‹éœ§ã®åœ‹, Sagiri no Kuni, 2020). Set in Kyushu during the Meiji era, a blind girl, named Takiri, and the blind monster from a nearby lake, named Nebula, fight against greedy developers who threaten to take over her family’s land. Using an all puppet human cast and a fantastic monster suit, it offers a new aesthetic in the world of kaiju films. Limited edition pre-sales have started with copies expected to ship by late November. Only 1000 will be sold on Blu-ray, which will include reversible artwork featuring both pieces of the artwork from Tomoaki Matsumoto and Matt Frank, a 35 min making of and is region free. In addition, there is a limited edition run of 50 VHS. The first 200 copies sold, in all formats, will get a free 11x17 mini poster.
