The anime series SSSS.GRIDMAN (SSSS.??????, SSSS.Guriddoman, 2018) is now available on home video in North America, courtesy of Funimation. Funimation has released the complete 12 episode series in two editions: a limited edition Blu-ray/DVD box set that comes with bonus content (including an excellent 150-page Art Book) and a standard Blu-ray set. Both versions come with digital copies of the series. Produced by the animation studio TRIGGER, SSSS.GRIDMAN is based on the 1993 live-action series GRIDMAN THE HYPER AGENT (??????????, Denkoo Choojin Guriddoman), which was created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tsuburaya Productions. The "SSSS" from the anime`s title is taken from the initials for SUPERHUMAN SAMURAI SYBER-SQUAD (1994-95), the Americanized version of the original show. The SSSS.GRIDMAN sets can be purchased from Funimation and other retailers.
