Mill Creek Entertainment has revealed that their upcoming Blu-rays of ULTRAMAN X (???????, Urutoraman X, 2015) will include the English dub for the 2016 theatrical feature film ULTRAMAN X: THE MOVIE – HERE HE COMES! OUR ULTRAMAN (??? ??????? ??????????????, Gekij?-ban Urutoraman X Kita Zo! Ware-ra no Urutoraman).
In 2016, Tsuburaya Productions commissioned William Winckler Productions to produce English language dubs for a handful of Ultraman movies. Two of those films -- ULTRAMAN GINGA S: THE MOVIE and ULTRAMAN X: THE MOVIE -- received a limited theatrical run in the United States and Canada in 2017. Tsuburaya has now given Mill Creek permission to use the ULTRAMAN X: THE MOVIE dub for their ULTRAMAN X Blu-rays, which will be released on April 21. Fans will now have the option to watch the film in English or the original Japanese with English subtitles. ULTRAMAN X: THE MOVIE will be available in two editions. The film is part of the ULTRAMAN X 25-Episode Complete Series plus Movie combo pack which retails for $39.98. There will also be a movie-only stand-alone Blu-ray for $19.98. Both editions come with digital redemption via Mill Creek Entertainment’s streaming service, movieSPREE. In ULTRAMAN X: THE MOVIE, X is joined by his longtime ally Cyber Gomora and a team of Ultra Heroes (Ultraman, Ultraman Zero, Ultraman Max, Ultraman Victory, Ultraman Ginga, Ultraman Nexus and Ultraman Tiga) to stop the evil beast Zaigorg and a "powered up" army of classic monsters.
