On October 24th, the Australian distributor Madman Entertainment will release the Korean historical action epic WAR OF THE ARROWS (???? ?, Choejongbyungki Hwal, 2011) on Blu-ray and DVD. WAR OF THE ARROWS was the highest grossing domestic film in Korea in 2011 -- beaten only by TRANSFORMERS 3 -- and was the opening night film of 2012 Korean Film Festival in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The Blu-ray edition will include an exclusive English dubbed audio track. Revenge and redemption combine in this heart-pounding action tale. In 1636, the second Manchurian invasion of Korea rages chaos and villages are attacked and ransacked by the overpowering Manchurian army. In one such village, Manchurian soldiers kidnap childhood sweethearts, Ja-in and Seo-Goon on their wedding day. The bride`s older brother, Nam-yi, returns home to discover the tragic attack on the village. In an effort to save his sister and the survivors of the village, he calls upon his skills as a master archer and sets out to take on the Manchurian invaders with only one bow.
