Well Go USA Entertainment is offering SciFi Japan readers a chance to win a Blu-ray of the South Korean supernatural fantasy-thriller DR. CHEON AND THE LOST TALISMAN (천박사 퇴마 연구소: 설경의 비밀, Cheonbaksa Toema Yeonguso: Seolgyeongui Bimil, 2023). Dr. Cheon makes a living performing fake exorcisms on camera, but when a mysterious client arrives at his door, he is drawn into a series of strange events that challenge his skepticism—and resurface childhood horrors he’s tried to forget.
The first feature film by Director KIM Seong-sik (an AD on PARASITE), DR. CHEON AND THE LOST TALISMAN stars GANG Dong-won (TRAIN TO BUSAN PRESENTS: PENINSULA), HUH Joon-ho (ESCAPE FROM MOGADISHU), Esom (KILL BOKSOON), Lee Dong-hwi (THE CALL), KIM Jong-soo (RANSOMED), Park Soi (DELIVER US FROM EVIL) and, making her feature film debut, pop star Jisoo from the group BLACKPINK.
Synopsis:
Despite being the grandson of a famed village shaman, Dr. Cheon doesn’t actually believe in ghosts, yet makes a living performing fake exorcisms on camera. But when a mysterious client arrives at his door, Dr. Cheon is drawn into a series of strange and unexplainable events that will challenge everything he has ever believed—and resurface childhood horrors he’s tried to forget.
DR. CHEON AND THE LOST TALISMAN debuts on Blu-ray (SLP: $29.98), DVD (SLP: $19.99) and Digital February 27 from Well Go USA Entertainment. The film has a runtime of approximately 99 minutes and is not rated.
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES and INFORMATION
Prize:
A. There are four (4) prizes, with each prize consisting of one (1) DR. CHEON AND THE LOST TALISMAN Blu-ray.
B. Prizes will be shipped to the contest winners so entrants must include a valid mailing address. This contest is only open to participants in the United States and Canada.
C. In the event that a winner chooses not to (or cannot) accept a prize, he or she forfeits all claim to that prize.
D. One entry per person. Prizes are non-transferable. No substitution of prizes allowed.
Duration of contests:
A. The “DR. CHEON AND THE LOST TALISMAN” contest runs from February 22 until 11:59pm on March 1, 2024.
How to enter:
A. Submit your name, email address, and mailing address for the random drawing.
B. Be sure to write “DR. CHEON AND THE LOST TALISMAN” in the subject header of your email entry. SciFi Japan often runs multiple contests at the same time, so any entries without “DR. CHEON AND THE LOST TALISMAN” in the subject header will be discarded.
C. Contest entrants may receive an email newsletter from SciFi Japan.
Determination of winners:
A. Only contestants who have submitted the requested information will be entered in the final drawing. The first four randomly drawn eligible entries will be judged the winners for this contest.
B. SciFi Japan is not responsible for typographical, electronic or other errors in Internet operation affecting the offering, outcome, administration of the contest or the announcement of prizes. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
C. The decision of Well Go USA and SciFi Japan is final. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the SciFi Japan judges, which are final and binding in all respects.
