The Hotel Gracery Shinjuku (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, General Manager: Shuji Wada), a landmark of Tokyo, popular with domestic fans as well as foreign visitors to Japan for its Godzilla-themed rooms and the almost life-size Godzilla head (approx. 12m) on its 8th floor terrace, celebrated its 10th anniversary on Thursday, April 24, 2025. To commemorate this event, reservations have begun for one newly renovated guest room on the top (30th) floor... the Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah Room (ゴジラVSキングギドラルーム, Gojira VS Kingu Gidora Rūmu). Guests will be able to stay in this room starting Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

Hotel Gracery Shinjuku has been offered accommodations based on Toho Co., Ltd.'s Godzilla motif since its opening in April 2015, including the world's first concept guest rooms, the Godzilla Room (ゴジラルーム, Gojira  Rūmu) featuring a suit-sized figure of Godzilla, and the Godzilla View Room (ゴジラビュールーム, Gojira Byū Rūmu), with a large window overlooking the giant Godzilla head statue. In December 2023, the 30th floor, where the Godzilla View Room is located, began renovation into the Godzilla Floor with work on another Godzilla-themed room on the same floor.

The concept of the newest renovated guest room is a "special effects studio." The motif is the hit movie GODZILLA VS. KING GHIDORAH (ゴジラVSキングギドラ, Gojira vs Kingu Gidora, 1991) which was released as part of the "Heisei vs. Godzilla Series" that the giant Godzilla head is also based on. Supervised by Toho and produced by Toho Eizo Bijutsu Co., Ltd. (Toho Visual Arts), the guest room is like a peek behind the scenes of a movie production. Guests can enjoy an immersive experience making them feel just like a movie director by arranging the chairs that resemble buildings and turning on the lights and sound. The approximately 1/50 scale figures of Godzilla and King Ghidorah, displayed facing each other, were made from new molds for this room. The world of GODZILLA VS. KING GHIDORAH even extends to the room's bathroom and toilet.

Shinjuku, where the hotel is located, is the setting for the final battle sequence in GODZILLA VS. KING GHIDORAH. Why not stay in the new room with the unique worldview of Shinjuku presented in the film?

Visitors to the Hotel Gracery Shinjuku can also take photos of the Godzilla diorama on the 8th floor terrace, which was recently updated to display a Godzilla suit and a Mothra sculpture actually used in the 2001 film GODZILLA, MOTHRA, KING GHIDORAH: GIANT MONSTERS ALL-OUT ATTACK (ゴジラ モスラ キングギドラ 大怪獣総攻撃, Gojira Mosura Kingugidora Daikaijū Sōkōgeki).
