Toho Co., Ltd. has provided information and high-res photos from CHIHAYAFURU Part.3 (????? -??-, Chihayafuru -Musubi-), the conclusion of the CHIHAYAFURU film series. The movies are based on the award-winning manga Chihayafuru by Yuki Suetsugu, which has sold more than 21 million copies. The final chapter follows a group of high school students competing in their final karuta card game tournament. STORY Two years have gone by since the Mizusawa Karuta Club founded by Chihaya Ayase: Suzu Hirose reached the national championships in its first year. Chihaya`s childhood friend Arata Wataya (Mackenyu) had stopped playing karuta, but he resolves to create a Karuta Club in his own high school and face off with Chihaya and her team. Meanwhile, Mizusawa`s club leader Taichi Mashima (Shuhei Nomura), who was childhood friends with both Chihaya and Arata, quits the team just before their final high school tournament.
