    "Destoroyah Special Exhibition" Comes to Nijigen no Mori Theme Park in March

    The Nijigen No Mori theme park has announced that their "Godzilla Interception Operation" (ゴジラ迎撃作戦 ~国立ゴジラ淡路島研究センター~, Gojira Geigeki Sakusen ~ Kokuritsu Gojira Awajishima Kenkyū Sentā ~) attraction will host a "Destoroyah Special Exhibition" (デストロイア特別展, Desutoroia Tokubetsu-ten)  from Thursday, March 13th to Sunday, December 14th, 2025 as part of the "Destoroyah 30th Anniversary Project" (デストロイア誕生30周年企画, Desutoroia Tanjō 30-shūnen Kikaku).

    In this special exhibition, attendees can enjoy the world of GODZILLA VS. DESTOROYAH (ゴジラVSデストロイア, Gojira VS Desutoroia, 1995), the final installment of the Heisei Godzilla series, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary through various exhibits and merchandising. This is the first time that a special exhibition dedicated to Destoroyah has been planned, which will include a rare display of Destoroyah's flying forms and aggregates. There will also be a live talk panel with Hideo Okamoto, who designed Destoroyah, and Shinichi Wakasa, who sculpted the monster suits and props.

    The "Destroyah Special Exhibition", featuring dioramas of battle scenes with Destoroyah and Godzilla, will be held in the attraction's Museum of Godzilla. Godzilla fans around the world, learn all about one of  Godzilla's greatest enemies!

    "Godzilla Interception Operation" is the world's only entertainment attraction where you can fully experience the power and power of Godzilla, with the theme of the world's largest life-size Godzilla that landed on Awaji Island.

    Participants become members of the National Awaji Island Institute of Godzilla Disaster  (NIGOD) and after receiving an explanation of the "Godzilla Interception Operation" that unfolds against Godzilla who has appeared on Awaji Island through a movie-like attraction video produced by Toho.

    Godzilla, which had been inactive on Awaji Island, has recently shown changes its vital signs. Therefore, NIGOD has decided to undertake the "Internal Surveillance Course" (体内監視コース, Tainai Kanshi Kōsu) and the "Surface Surveillance Course" (体表監視コース, Karadahyō Kanshi Kōsu) zip lines to further monitor these changes.

    "Godzilla Interception Operation" also has plenty of indoor attractions, such as the Museum of Godzilla and the kids' area "Kaiju no Mori" (カイジュウノモリ) where small children can play as much as they want with dozens of soft vinyl monsters. A wide selection of Godzilla items are on sale, including products exclusive to the attraction. Visitors can get goods such as hats, glasses, figues, and Godzilla-themed meals and snacks.
