Toho has provided SciFi Japan with the new details and a huge photo gallery for GODZILLA MINUS ONE (ゴジラ-1.0/ゴジラマイナスワン, Gojira Mainasu Wan), the upcoming film from director/writer/FX director Takashi Yamazaki commemorating the 70th anniversary of Godzilla's birth. The movie will be released in Japan on November 3 and open in North American cinemas on December 1, 2023.

GODZILLA MINUS ONE is shaping up to be a massive hit for Toho, not just in Japan but also abroad. The film has been trending No. 1 on social networking sites, and the trailer also skyrocketed to No. 1 on YouTube in Japan and North America, with a total of more than 9 million views.

The studio has just released a new full-body image of of the 2023 Godzilla design, revealing parts of the monster that were not previously shown in the teaser poster. Godzilla's hideous dorsal fins, its mighty tail looming over all, and the cruelly destroyed city all come together to make for a stunning visual.

While numerous sites have posted screengrabs from the trailer, Toho has just sent their offical photo gallery showing Godzilla as he appears in the film, the characters as they witness the monster's attack, the people fleeing for their lives, and the collapsing city. SciFi Japan is honored to be the first North American outlet allowed to share these pics.

Flyers incorporating the artwork and photos will be available from Japanese movie theaters nationwide starting this Friday, September 15. On that day, advance ticket sales will also begin in Japan via Movie Walker Online and Movie Walker ticket machines at convenience stores including 7-Eleven, Lawson and Family Mart.
