Bushiroad Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takaaki Kitani) hosted the Bushiroad New Year's Grand Announcement 2025 on Monday, January 13th to preview their trading card releases for the coming year. The event revealed new details about their upcoming GODZILLA CARD GAME (ゴジラカードゲーム, Gojira Kādo Gēmu). Bushiroad is a partner with Toho for this game, providing sales support at TCG (trading card games) specialty stores and mass retailers and also operating official tournaments and events in Japan and the United States.

In the GODZILLA CARD GAME, the Godzilla series moves the stage from the movie screen to the game board, and a major battle over the series' 70-year history. As a card game of attack and defense, it will offer a new playing experience that evokes the Godzilla movies and images.

The game is set to be released simultaneously in Japanese and English editions in July 2025. The launch will include three products: two starter decks and one booster pack. Prior to the release, trial sessions will be held at Bushiroad authorized stores across Japan and at various events.

A new preview video has been uploaded to the Japanese Godzilla YouTube Channel, providing a look at the gameplay and the four types of cards used in the game.

Bushiroad has also revealed the first events scheduled in Japan and overseas that will be promoting the GODZILLA CARD GAME...
