Toho’s DETECTIVE CONAN: THE SCARLET BULLET, the 23rd installment in the franchise, opens to $1.2m from 38 IMAX screens in Japan, an incredible $32K per screen and the 3rd highest IMAX opening weekend since the pandemic began, behind DEMON SLAYER and SHIN EVANGELION.
