3Y Film and MRTS have provided an update for their upcoming kaiju film, HOSHI 35 (星35). The company's fundraising campaign for the project on the popular Japanese crowdfunding site Makuake is just a few days from ending it's run and is looking to finish at over 400% of it's original goal!

Yoko Ishino -- Best known by kaiju fans for her role as reporter Yukari Yamane in GODZILLA VS DESTOROYAH (ゴジラＶＳデストロイア, Gojira tai Desutoroia, 1995), Ishino has an extensive list of credits in theatrical features and television, including the Toho sci-fi release TOKYO BLACKOUT (首都消失, Shuto Shōshitsu, 1987), THE INNOCENT SEVEN (七人の弔, Shichinin no Tomurai, 2005), SOFTBOYS (ソフトボーイ, Sofutoboi, 2010), MONSTER (怪物, Kaibutsu, 2013)and the drama series OCHOYAN (おちょやん, 2020-21).

Yukijiro Hotaru -- Hotaru should be no stranger to kaiju and tokusatsu fans. Following his breakout role as the bumbling electrician Kamiya in Keita Amemiya's ZEIRAM (ゼイラム, Zeiramu, 1991), Hotaru has acted in Amemiya's ZEIRAM 2 (ゼイラム2, Zeiramu 2, 1994), MOON OVER TAO: MAKARAGA (タオの月, Tao no Tsuki, 1997) and the GARO franchise; Shusuke Kaneko and Shinju Higuchi's Gamera Trilogy, Kaneko's GODZILLA, MOTHRA AND KING GHIDORAH: GIANT MONSTERS ALL-OUT ATTACK (ゴジラ・モスラ・キングギドラ 大怪獣総攻撃, Gojira, Mosura, Kingu Gidora: Daikaijū Sōkōgeki, 2001), Shinpei Hayashiya's REIGO: KING OF THE SEA MONSTERS (深海獣レイゴー, Shinkaijū Reigō, 2005/2008) and RAIGA: GOD OF THE MONSTERS (深海獣雷牙, Shinkaijū Raiba, 2009) and Hiroto Yokokawa's THE GREAT BUDDHA ARRIVAL (大仏廻国, Daibutsu Kokaiku, 2019) and NEZURA 1964 (ネズラ1964, 2020).
