    In September, GKIDS and Fathom Events continued their collaboration to bring exciting all new animated features to U.S. cinemas with PROMARE (????, Puromea, 2019) premiere events. Now, due to overwhelming fan demand, the companies are proud to announce that PROMARE will return for a special encore showing in December. PROMARE is the first feature-length film from the acclaimed Studio TRIGGER, creators of the hit series KILL la KILL and LITTLE WITCH ACADEMIA. Directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi (GURREN LAGANN, KILL la KILL), PROMARE is the spiritual successor to many of his former works, and uses a bold cel-shaded visual style to tell a blistering action-adventure story. For this encore event, PROMARE will be shown in its original Japanese language Additionally, event attendees will view, for the first time in U.S. theaters, a special 10 minute prequel short SIDE: GALO with a look at Galo`s first day with Burning Rescue! Sunday, December 8 at 12:55 p.m. local time in Japanese with English-language subtitles SYNOPSIS Thirty years has passed since the appearance of Burnish, a race of flame-wielding mutant beings, who destroyed half of the world with fire. When a new group of aggressive mutants calling themselves "Mad Burnish" appears, the epic battle between Galo Thymos, a new member of the anti-Burnish rescue team “Burning Rescue,” and Lio Fotia, the leader of “Mad Burnish" begins.
