Throughout 2019, GKIDS and Fathom Events’ STUDIO GHIBLI FEST 2019 presents a series of Studio Ghibli’s celebrated animated masterpieces on cinema screens nationwide, along with some very special surprises. The series concludes with THE TALE OF THE PRINCESS KAGUYA (???????, Kaguyahime no Monogatari, 2013). A powerful and soaring epic, based on a legendary Japanese folktale, redefines animated storytelling from director and Studio Ghibli co-founder Isao Takahata.
