The optical company Tamron Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Shogo Sakuraba), a comprehensive manufacturer of optics, will operate a collaboration booth featuring Godzilla at CP+ 2025 (Camera & Photo Imaging Show 2025), the world premiere event for cameras, photography and imaging. The convention will be held at the Pacifico Yokohama Convention Center in Japan from Thursday, February 27 to Sunday, March 2, 2025.

Their exhibition at CP+ 2025 will feature Godzilla and the Kiryu incarnation of Mechagodzilla from the Millennium Series Godzilla films. The movies GODZILLA AGAINST MECHAGODZILLA (ゴジラ×メカゴジラ, Gojira × Mekagojira, 2002), and GODZILLA: TOKYO SOS (ゴジラ×モスラ×メカゴジラ 東京SOS, Gojira x Mosura x Mekagojira Tōkyō Esu Ō Esu, 2003) depicted the fierce battles between Godzilla and Kiryu, which was built upon the bones of the original Godzilla, and are still popular with many fans today.
Attendees will be able to experience the powerful figure of Godzilla up close, and can also take pictures freely with the experience cameras and lenses displayed at the booth. The exhibition is enjoyable not only for Godzilla fans, but also for those who are experiencing Godzilla for the first time. • Godzilla & Type-3 Kiryu Diorama Display
A diorama based on the set of a special effects movie will be displayed in the booth. Visitors can freely enjoy shooting using the installed Tamron lenses.
• Special Effects Demo Experience "Touch and Try Counter"
A special effects shooting demo corner using a slider. Visitors can experience shooting videos as if they were in a scene from the movie.
• Macro Lens Experience Corner
A corner will be set up where you can experience close-up photography using Tamron's macro lenses, with Godzilla and a mini diorama as the subject.
