TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku will be selling a limited edition soft vinyl figure from the popular "CCP Middle Size Series Godzilla" (CCP ミドルサイズシリーズ ゴジラ, CCP Midoru Saizu Shirīzu Gojira) by manufacturer CCP JAPAN Co., Ltd., in celebration of the theater's 10th anniversary. The figure will be available for purchase at the theater on Thursday, April 17th.
Based on the concept of “an old-school/new-school, yet slightly old-fashioned soft vinyl monster series,” the popular Middle Size figure line measure 12 cm in height and fits in the palm of a hand, making them easy to collect. This is a collector's series by CCPJAPAN for soft vinyl and monster lovers, with a retro-style deformation that gives a nostalgic and somewhat “Showa-era retro” feel to the figures.

The TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku 10th anniversary limited edition soft vinyl figure isf Burning Godzilla from GODZILLA VS. DESTOROYAH (ゴジラVSデストロイア, Gojira VS Desutoroia), a movie which is celebrating its own 30th anniversary this year.
The molding and coloring of the soft vinyl has been carefully crafted to give it a metallic and glittery shine, making this a truly "memorial"-worthy Godzilla soft vinyl figure. It is made using a soft vinyl method that molds clear yellow with gold glitter. The body is painted metallic blue inspired by Godzilla's body color, (known as "Godzilla Blue") and scenes in the movie where he is illuminated by lights at night. In addition, the intense heat of Burning Godzilla is reproduced with clear orange paint. The glitter particles peeking through the scorching hot parts make this a very beautiful soft vinyl figure.

About CCPJAPAN
CCPJAPAN's Unique Realism with Soft Vinyl
Soft vinyl is a half-century old technique in Japan. It is a hollow molded product obtained by polymerizing vinyl chloride monomer by pouring it into a mold and heating it, and the doll made through this process is called soft vinyl.
Hollow, lightweight, and unbreakable are the greatest characteristics of soft vinyl. The production speed is fast, and the cost of molds is inexpensive, making it a molding method that can produce a relatively small number of products for a small number of needs.
CCP has continued to produce works of manga, anime, and special effects, representative of Japanese POP culture, under the theme of “preserving them for posterity as three-dimensional materials. CCPJAPAN has continued to produce works based on the theme of “preserving Japanese pop culture, manga, anime, and special effects works as three-dimensional materials for posterity. Compared to fragile ceramics, CCPJAPAN produces mainly soft vinyl works that will last for hundreds or even thousands of years.
About 20 years ago, CCPJAPAN established a method of expressing realistic details and molding techniques for soft vinyl, and through its advanced coloring techniques, CCPJAPAN's works aim for greater realism. We hope you will experience the realism and unique sensibility of CCPJAPAN through our works.
