Fans of the OREIMO franchise are in for a treat this summer as Aniplex of America announced their plans to release OREIMO 2 (?????????????????, Ore no Imooto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai., 2013) on DVD in a Limited Edition Complete Box Set on August 5th. At their industry panel at A-Kon in Dallas, Texas, Aniplex of America has also confirmed that pre-orders for this item are available for sale in the U.S. and Canada on their official homepage. The OREIMO 2 DVD Limited Edition Complete Box Set will feature the entire TV series (episodes 1-13) plus 3 OVA episodes never-seen-on-TV. The set features the series in the original Japanese audio with English subtitles on 4 DVD discs. The box set is planned to feature numerous bonus contents and materials including the textless openings, textless ending for all 16 episodes, SD characters preview videos, SD characters “Special Short Movies,” “Gal-ge” style short movies, the web previews, a set of 16 pin-up postcards (featuring the ending cards from every episode), a 44-page deluxe booklet, the “From Chiba to the World” poster, and a reversible DVD case wrap.
