Kadokawa Pictures presents "the birth of a new erotic × young girl action movie!" with RED X PINK (?×???, Aka × Pinku), opening at the Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku and other Japanese cinemas on February 22, 2014. Celebrating the 65th Anniversary of the company`s publishing imprint, Kadokawa Bunko, the film is adapted from the 2003 light novel written by Naoki Prize winner Kazuki Sakuraba and illustrated by Shin Takahashi. RED X PINK is the story of four young women who participate in "Girls Blood", an illegal mixed martial arts event held at an abandoned elementary school in Roppongi, Tokyo. Here, members of an underground fight club watch women in revealing cosplay outfits battle in an iron cage, night after night. One of the fighters, Satsuki, suffers from gender identity disorder. Another, Chinatsu, came to "Girls Blood" after after fleeing from a life of domestic violence. Miko is a S&M queen who wears a blonde wig and bondage gear in combat. And innocent-looking Mayu is into Lolita fashion. Their lives become increasingly complicated as Satsuki falls in love with a beautiful married woman, and Chinatsu`s abusive husband shows up with a savage hustler friend who has his own plans for the girls. Satsuki and her friends must now fight or face a terrible fate... Director and Cast RED X PINK is directed by the prolific Koichi Sakamoto. A Member of Alpha Stunts, he worked in the United States as an action director, director, and producer on the POWER RANGERS franchise. Sakamoto returned to Japan to direct MEGA MONSTER BATTLE ULTRA GALAXY: THE MOVIE (?????? ???????? He was chief director of the television series KAMEN RIDER FOURZE (??????????, Kamen Raidaa Fooze, 2011-12) and KYORYUGER (?????????????, Juuden Sentai Kyooryuujaa, 2013) and also directed the recent films 009?1: THE END OF THE BEGINNING (009?1 ???????? THE END OF THE BEGINNING, 009?1 Zero Zero Kunoichi THE END OF THE BEGINNING, 2013), INNOCENT LILIES (?????, Shiro Majo Gakuen, 2013) and KYORYUGER VS GO-BUSTERS (??????????????????????????????????????, Juuden Sentai Kyooryuujaa tai Goobasutaazu: Kyooryuu Daikessen! Saraba Eien no Tomo yo, 2014). To date, Sakamoto is the only person to have directed all three of the major Japanese live-action tokusatsu hero film franchises: the Kamen Rider Series, the Super Sentai Series, and the Ultraman Series.

The main character Satsuki is portrayed by model and actress Yuria Haga. A veteran of the Kamen Rider franchise, Haga played Mari Sonoda in MASKED RIDER FAIZ (??????555??????, Kamen Raidaa Faizu, 2003–2004) and Mio Suzuki in MASKED RIDER KIVA (????????, Kamen Raidaa Kiba, 2008-2009), guest starred as the villainous Yuki in MASKED RIDER DECADE (???????????, Kamen Raidaa Dikeido, 2009) and provided the voice for Kamen Rider Siren in the Japanese dub of KAMEN RIDER DRAGON KNIGHT (2009). The actress performs her first full nude scene in RED X PINK.

Chinatsu is played by gravure idol Asami Tada, whose credits include the television series GIGA TOKYO TOY BOX (?????????, Dai Tokyo Toi Bokkusu, 2014) and the films VENUS FIVE (?????????????, Megami Sentai Vuiinasufaibu, 2009) and COOL GIRLS (???????, Kuru Garuzu, 2009). Miko is played by Ayame Misaki, who has a recurring role as the villain Escape in the television series GO-BUSTERS (???????????, Tokumei Sentai Goobasutaazu, 2012-2013) and films GO-BUSTERS VS GOKAIGER (????????????????????????THE MOVIE, Tokumei Sentai Goobasutaazu Tai Kaizoku Sentai Gookaijaa Za Muubii, 2013) and KYORYUGER VS GO-BUSTERS (??????????????????????????????????????, Juuden Sentai Kyooryuujaa Tai Goobasutaazu: Kyooryuu Daikessen! Saraba Eien no Tomo yo, 2014). She also starred in CUTIE HONEY THE LIVE (???????? THE LIVE, Kyuutii Hanii THE LIVE, 2007-2008), AIN`T KNOW TOMORROWS (???????????, Oretachi ni Asu wa Naissu, 2008) and AVEC PUNCH (???????, Abekku Panchi, 2011). Mayu is played by another former MASKED RIDER KIVA cast member -- Rina Koike -- who starred as Shizuka Nomura in the series and spin-off films MASKED RIDER DEN-O & KIVA (?????????????????????????????, Gekijooban Kamen Raidaa Den`Oo ando Kiba Kuraimakkusu Deka, 2008) and MASKED RIDER KIVA THE MOVIE (??????????????????, Gekijooban Kamen Raidaa Kiba Makaijoo no Oo, 2008). She also played Sailor Luna in the live-action series PRETTY GUARDIAN SAILORMOON (????????????, Bishoojo Senshi Seeraa Muun, 2003–2004).
