Small Town Monsters is back on the case, investigating a history of reported werewolf sightings in Texas. Inspired by the book of the same name by Aaron Deese, former Editor in Chief of Paranormality Magazine, THE DOGMAN TRIANGLE documentary goes deeper into witness accounts and expert research on lycanthropes in the Lone Star State.
THE DOGMAN TRIANGLE debuts on major streaming platforms on June 27th, from 1091 Pictures, including iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, Vudu and FandangoNOW. Director Seth Breedlove brings the information related in Deese’s recently-published book to light for a larger audience in the form of this new documentary from indie-powerhouse, Small Town Monsters.
For centuries tales have been told around the world about strange, upright-walking wolves. While these stories are typically thought to be little more than legend or folklore, they live on, and in recent years the terrifying reality behind them is coming to light. In the state of Texas alone, dozens of reports of encounters with Werewolves have been brought to light. These reports were the focus of a recent book by author, Aaron Deese, who not only found a preponderance of such accounts, but also a strange pattern to them; a pattern that fit inside a seven hundred plus square mile area he calls the Texas Dogman Triangle.
THE DOGMAN TRIANGLE trails Deese, along with independent researcher and author, Shannon LeGro as they map out the triangle. Speaking with witnesses, and experts, LeGro and Deese journey deep into a uniquely American phenomenon that has roots in our ancient past.
About Small Town Monsters
Small Town Monsters began as an independent film series exploring lost and bizarre history around the United States. Focusing on small town folklore, our team tells stories through the words and experiences of those who were most affected by them - residents and witnesses. Released in Spring of 2015, MINERVA MONSTER was the first film in the series, and explored strange occurrences in 1970's Minerva, OH.
Several Years later, STM has released over ten films, several investigative series, web series, and has launched a membership platform with exclusive content. In addition to producing films, Small Town Monsters also attends events throughout the year to screen their movies and talk about these strange tales.
