During a great war in space, a dark power turned the Ultramen and their foes into small figures called Spark Dolls, sending them across the universe. In present day Japan, a teenager named Hikaru Raidou finds the Ginga Spark, a mysterious device that can not only return the Spark Dolls to their original giant forms, but also transform the youth into the hero, Ultraman Ginga! As the dark power begins to stir once again, Hikaru uses his newfound power to defend the Earth. Hikaru, now a member of the special investigative team UPG (Ultra Party Guardians), meets Sho, a young man from a subterranean civilization who possesses the power of Ultraman Victory.
