Kotarou is a young boy pursued by the royal army of China’s Ming dynasty. When his trusty dog Tobimaru is injured in an ambush he reluctantly hires a nameless samurai for protection... however, No-Name has a guilty past to deal with along with some of China’s fiercest warriors. Trouble continues to follow them, for within the Chinese militia lies Rarou, a fearsome Western fighter who answers to no one and is in search of a worthy opponent, and he will not rest until he finds the boy and the samurai. And when the true reason for the Chinese militia’s presence in Japan is revealed, it will test the bonds between Kotarou and No-Name.
