3Y Film and MRTS have provided an update for their upcoming kaiju film, HOSHI 35 (星35). The company had launched a fundraising campaign for the project on the popular Japanese crowdfunding site Makuake. It has been a great success, having smashed it's goal and currently sitting at 286% with 64 days still to go.

Noboru Satô -- Satô was one of the main voice actors for the sci-fi anime series CHARGEMAN KEN! (チャージマン研！, Chājiman Ken!, 1974) and had onscreen roles in NEZURA 1964 and GHOST CAT RHAPSODY.

Masanori Kikuzawa -- Kikuzawa has become a 3Y Film regular with credits in THE GREAT BUDDHA ARRIVAL (大仏廻国, Daibutsu Kokaiku, 2019), NEZURA 1964 and GHOST CAT RHAPSODY.

Akihiro Ugajin -- Ugajin is veteran of sci-fi and daikaiju films with roles in BATTLE ROYALE (バトルロワイヤル, Batorurowaiyaru, 2000), CASSHERN (キャシャーン, Kyashān, 2004), GODZILLA: FINAL WARS (ゴジラ ファイナル ウォーズ, Gojira Fainaru Wōzu, 2004) , ULTRAMAN: THE NEXT (ウルトラマン, Urutoraman, 2004), GAMERA THE BRAVE (ガメラ～小さき勇者たち～, Gamera ~ Chīsaki Yūsha-Tachi ~, 2006) and BIG MAN JAPAN (大日本人, Dainipponjin, 2007). He will be making his long overdue return to acting and kaiju with HOSHI 35.

Nômaru Abe -- Abe's credits include GAMERA: GUARDIAN OF THE UNIVERSE (ガメラ 大怪獣空中決戦, Gamera: Daikaijū Kūchū Kessen, 1995), ULTRAMAN GAIA: BATTLE IN HYPERSPACE (ウルトラマンティガ・ウルトラマンダイナ&ウルトラマンガイア超時空の大決戦, Urutoraman Tiga Urutoraman Daina Ando Urutoraman Gaia Chō Jikū no Dai Kessen, 1999), THE SUMMER OF THE UBUME (姑獲鳥の夏, Ubume no Natsu, 2005) and Sion Sono's ANTIPORNO (アンチポルノ, Anchiporuno, 2016).
The newly announced additions are joining a cast that includes Heisei Godzilla series star Megumi Odaka plus Jun Hashizume (GODZILLA VS SPACEGODZILLA,
ULTRAMAN Z ), Daijiro Harada (GODZILLA VS MECHAGODZILLA ll, HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE), Hiroshi Miyasaka (AKIRA KUROSAWA’S DREAMS, SHALL WE DANCE?, ULTRA GALAXY FIGHT: THE DESTINED CROSSROAD) and Yumiko Tanaka (MASKED RIDER SUPER-1, THE RETURN OF GODZILLA).
