PLAN A has shared an early look at their upcoming movie, HOT SPRINGS SHARK ATTACK (温泉シャーク, Onsen Shāku). The film is directed and written by Morihito Inoue, an indie filmmaker who won the "National Monster Movie Championship" (全国自主怪獣映画選手権, Zenkoku Jishu Kaijū Eiga Senshuken) in two consecutive years, 2018-19. HOT SPRINGS SHARK ATTACK is produced by Masayuki Nagata (WAR OF THE NINJA MONSTERS: JARON VS GOURA) with music by Joe Jimba and spfx by Yusuke Miki (ULTRAMAN Z, WHEN YOU WISH UPON A BLACK HOLE, BRUSH OF THE GOD).

 

The producers launched a fundraising campaign on the Japanese crowdfunding website Campfire and have already hit 1140% of their goal!

Several visitors to an Onsen (hot spring) in Atsumi Cit have disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

All the victims were later found dead, their bodies bearing severe injuries resembling those inflicted in a vicious shark attack.

The police chief of Atsumi City launches an investigation and unravels the shocking mystery behind the killings.

The attacks were indeed caused an ancient shark that has somehow been revived, and now stalks the hot springs.

The battle between Atsumi City and the Shark begins!
