M?n Eternal "Zenpen"), the first anime feature film in 25 years based on Naoko Takeuchi`s internationally popular manga series, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. Co-produced by Toei Animation and Studio DEEN (FATE/STAY NIGHT [UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS]), PRETTY GUARDIAN SAILOR MOON ETERNAL THE MOVIE Part 1 is scheduled to open in Japanese cinemas on September 11, 2020, with the release date for the second part TBA. Inspired by the Dead Moon story arc from the manga, the movie is a “Fighting Love Story” depicting Chibiusa Tsukino`s faint first love and the growth of the Sailor Guardians. The original author, Naoko Takeuchi, is in charge of supervision on the project, and the director is Chiaki Kon (SAILOR MOON CRYSTAL, BACK STREET GIRLS). The character designs were created by Kazuko Tadano, who was in charge of the designs and animation direction of the 1990s SAILOR MOON anime series.
