Shout! Factory is offering SciFi Japan readers a chance to win a Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack of stunning anime feature LIZ AND THE BLUE BIRD (??????, Liz to Aoi Tori, 2018). The movie makes its way to home video following its premiere at Annecy International Film Festival last June and its North American theatrical release in November. LIZ AND THE BLUE BIRD comes from the creators of the critically acclaimed A SILENT VOICE (40th Japan Academy Award, Best Animated Feature Film), including director Naoko Yamada and writer Reiko Yoshida. It has been adapted from the popular YA novel series Sound! Euphonium by Ayano Takenda and is considered a side sequel to the anime series of the same name. LIZ AND THE BLUE BIRD will be available on Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack (SLP: $26.99) and DVD (SLP: $16.97) from ELEVEN ARTS and Shout! Factory. The film is presented in both the original Japanese language and English dub versions. Bonus features include audio commentary and an interview with Director Masaaki Yuasa, trailers and TV spots.
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES and INFORMATION
Prize: A. There are three (3) prizes, with each prize consisting of one (1) LIZ AND THE BLUE BIRD Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack. B. Prizes will be shipped to the contest winners so entrants must include a valid mailing address. This contest is only open to participants in the United States and Canada. C. In the event that a winner chooses not to (or cannot) accept a prize, he or she forfeits all claim to that prize. D. One entry per person. Prizes are non-transferable. No substitution of prizes allowed. Duration of contest: A. The "LIZ AND THE BLUE BIRD" contest runs from March 4 until 11:59pm on March 16, 2019. How to enter: A. Submit your name, email address, and mailing address for the random drawing. B. Be sure to write "LIZ AND THE BLUE BIRD" in the subject header of your email entry. SciFi Japan often runs multiple contests at the same time, so any entries without "LIZ AND THE BLUE BIRD" in the subject header will be discarded. Determination of winners: A. Only contestants who have submitted the requested information will be entered in the final drawing. The first two randomly drawn eligible entries will be judged the winners for this contest. B. SciFi Japan is not responsible for typographical, electronic or other errors in Internet operation affecting the offering, outcome, administration of the contest or the announcement of prizes.
