Arrow Video US is offering SciFi Japan readers a chance to win their new Blu-ray set of Toho`s "The Bloodthirsty Trilogy" containing THE VAMPIRE DOLL (??????? ??????, Yuurei Yashiki no Kyofu Chiwosuu Ningyo, 1970), LAKE OF DRACULA (???? ?????, Noroi no Yakata Chiwosuu Me, 1971) and EVIL OF DRACULA (??????, Chiwosuu Bara, 1974). Directed by Michio Yamamoto, the three films brought the vampiric tropes of the Dracula legend to Japanese screens, emphasizesing atmosphere and style with images of dark thunderous nights, ghostly mansions and bloody fangs. Arrow Video US` release features HD digital transfers from the original film elements, plus extras including a photo gallery, theatrical trailers, a reversible cover sleeve, and more. This first pressing also comes with an illustrated collector`s booklet. The suggested retail price is $49.95.
