The Japanese toy company X-Plus Co., Ltd. has provided SciFi Japan with information and exclusive high-res photos of their Mother Legion figure from GAMERA 2: ADVENT OF LEGION (???2 ??????, Gamera 2: Region Shurai, 1996). It`s been a year since X-Plus last released a new Gamera series figure, but the company has returned to the franchise in a very big way! Built in scale to their Gamera (1996 Edition), Legion stands nearly 15 inches tall and more than 22 inches long. Each of Legion`s 10 claws are fully poseable. The head can move and its hood opened and closed to reproduce the alien`s microwave blast posture. The Shounen Ric website Limited Edition version comes with a bonus light-up feature for the eyes (which can switch from blue to red) and microwave emitter. The gimmick requires four AAA batteries (sold separately). Recommended for fans and collectors age 15 years and older. X-Plus` monster figures can be purchased directly from the company`s official Shounen Ric website.
