The Japanese collectibles company X-Plus Co., Ltd. has provided SciFi Japan with information and giant, high-res photos of their DefoReal Series figure of Godzilla (1962) from KING KONG VS GODZILLA (??????????, Kingu Kongu Tai Gojira, 1962). The modeling of the "super deformed" figure gives a sense of weight and volume to the lower body, a trademark of the fan-favorite Godzilla `62 design (commonly known as "Kingogi"). In addition to the General Distribution figure with a closed mouth, there will be a Limited Edition version with dorsal fins molded in phosphorescent material, allowing them to glow in the dark. The Limited Edition Godzilla (1962) will be sold exclusively online by X-Plus` Shonen-Ric website and Toho`s official Godzilla Store, and will not be available from retail stores.
