The Japanese collectibles company X-Plus Co., Ltd. has provided SciFi Japan with information and high-res photos of their Gigantic Series event exclusive figure kit of Burning Godzilla from Toho`s GODZILLA VS DESTOROYAH (???vs??????, Gojira Tai Desutoroia, 1995). Based on an original garage kit by Ryu Oyama from Winter Wonder Festival 2010, the standard color Gigantic Series Godzilla 1995 soft vinyl figure was first released by X-Plus in May 2014. The company also issued a Frozen Version with new colors and texturing in October 2016. Unlike the previous releases, this new version is a model kit that must be fully assembled. The figure is also unpainted, with the pieces molded in grey and semi-transparent white soft vinyl. When fully assembled, Godzilla (1995) stands an incredible 1½ feet tall and nearly 3 feet long. The Gigantic Series: Godzilla (1995) Soft Vinyl Assembly Kit was available exclusively at the Tokyo model and toy show Super Festival 73 (???????????73, Suupaafesutibaru 73) this past Sunday, January 8th. The item was sold "first come, first served" and limited to one per person. It will not be available from retail stores. Recommended for fans and collectors age 15 years and older.
