    GODZILLA VS BIOLLANTE Super XII Plastic Model in December 2014

    Classic Anti-Godzilla Mecha from Kotobukiya Source: Kotobukiya Co., Ltd. In celebration of Godzilla`s 60th anniversary, the Japanese Hobby manufacturer Kotobukiya Co., Ltd. is releasing a 1/144 scale plastic model of the Super XII from GODZILLA VS BIOLLANTE (??? VS ?????, Gojira Tai Biorante, 1989). The anti-Godzilla mecha will be available starting in December 2014. The nose of the Super XII can be opened to reveal its main weapon, the Fire Mirror, constructed of plated, metallic-finish and clear parts. The vehicle`s arsenal also features interchangeable Super Napalm and Super Missile pieces. The adjustable display stand is sculpted in the design of a Thunder Control System mine (used to increase Godzilla`s body temperature with microwaves). Also included is a MBT-92 Mazer Beam Tank, produced in scale with the Super XII. The Super XII kit is sculpted by Ayumu Ishii (Kotobukiya`s D-Style and Armored Core lines) and Yudai Itoyama (Kotobukiya`s Character Model line), and constructed of PS (polystyrene), PE (polyethelyne) and ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene).
